Notice on compulsory testing

Dear Members,

The Government exercises the power under the Prevention and Control of Disease (Compulsory Testing for Certain Persons) Regulation (Cap. 599J) and publishes in the Gazette a compulsory testing notice at 23:43 on 26 October 2021.

In view of one preliminary positive imported case who had stayed in Hong Kong during the incubation period, Indian Recreation Club is included in the compulsory testing notice.  As per Government notice:

“Any person who had been present at Indian Recreation Club, 63 Caroline Hill Road, So Kon Po, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong at any time during the period from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on 10 October 2021 (including but not limited to full-time, part-time and relief staff and visitors), has to undergo testing by 28 October 2021. If persons subject to compulsory testing have previously undergone testing between 24 October and 26 October 2021, they would be taken to have complied with the requirements set out in the compulsory testing notice”

We have arranged all staff to undergo a COVID-19 nucleic acid test immediately.

If you have any enquiries on compulsory testing arrangements, you may call Government hotline at 6275 6901 which operates daily from 9am to 6pm.

Regards,

IRC Management
